Vision

Nokor Creations has grown and changed since this original vision in 2018, yet the vision remains the same. Empowered Women Create still supports and  trains women to create beautiful jewelry to create sustainable income for themselves and their children, and to be free of exploitation & oppression of sex trafficking, but Nokor Creations is now under Daughters of Cambodia.  I have traveled to Cambodia 1-2x per year since 2018. We have 6 women in Nokor Creations now. I was able to go and train them this year, 2022, for 2 months, since the Covid shutdown. It was an amazing time of working together with Ruth of Daughters of Cambodia and the beautiful staff there. The Nokor Creation artists worked extremely hard as we reviewed techniques and skills and created new series of work along with the successful series we had created already.

I also am so blessed for the willingness of Daughters of Cambodia to include Nokor Creations in their amazing program. They provide a safe place for women to work. They nurture them and encourage them as they worship together, work together, counsel, and care for them. They are creating sustainable income for 50+ girls at this time through their boutique, sewing, silk screening, and woodworking. Go HERE to check Daughters of Cambodia out and hear their story.

Empowered Women Create is marketing Daughters of Cambodia product here in the United States. Look for their product on-line  for sale HERE.

VISION

Here is an audio I made before my 2nd trip to Cambodia in 2018 to begin the artisans’ group and the original vision I sent to the director of Iris Cambodia and team.
